Chemigrams series does not address a specific theme but instead focuses on the materiality of the photographic process. It investigates how photographic chemicals interact during paper development, observing the reactions of different black-and-white papers to prolonged light exposure and their gradual colour shifts over time. Particular attention is given to the spillage and movement of chemicals and how these actions generate unique, unpredictable visual effects.
